Seattle's the Best!

So, I'm finally here in Seattle! I'm blogging live from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, courtesy of the company! Hahaha! Got here before lunch and after checking-in, I went to Pike Place Market! There are just so much to see here at Seattle, and one of those is the first ever Starbucks shop and I swore to myself that before I go back to SF I'll visit "The Needle", I've been dreaming of it since I was... since it was built! Can't really remember when that was, and I am to lazy to google it up! And later I'm going to meet up with Mary at Cascadia, I saw that place at Pike when I went there earlier and I've heard from the grapevine that it's a great place to eat! And maybe we could hop at some hot bars tonight, it's a post Halloween party people! Davey, I'm just kidding babe, I won't go partying, I need to be early tomorrow to meet some clients and pick some stuff.

Anyway, I'm just looking for anything to do for my spare time. Gawd, it's quite a long wait before dinner time! Maybe I should take a nap... I'll keep you posted on my little Seattle adventure. My boss might read this post... Oh my! Just so you know my dear readers I'm here for (a little) work and more play. Don't tell my boss though, even if she'll pay you a grand! Hahahah

A little trivia: I just knew that Seattle's best was acquired by Starbucks last 2003. So, I think it's just ok if you'll bring your cup of Starbucks latte at Seattle's Best or vice versa. Hah!

Update

Happy Halloween!

I am sorry readers of this blog (if there's any) that I wasn't able to update this thingy. I know I promised that I'll keep this blog updated but after 2 posts, it went to hibernation already. I was busy the past weeks, in fact I still am. We've got lots of projects in line at work. I'm not complaining because I love my work so much, and I'm really enjoying it. I know I am very blessed because I get to do the thing that I love doing. But though I live a very busy life, I was able to squeeze some parties here and there. Hey, I believe that we should work hard and play harder! It's the secret to a happy life, as said by me.

We also had a Halloween party at work, and I dressed up as Hannah Montana. Hahaha of course not! Even though I love that girl so much... I can't dress up like her, she's so young! And I am waaaaay too old to become a Hannah Montana even for a few hours, and aside from that my sister would kill me if she sees me donning a Hannah do. She only like Hannah for herself. Enough talking about Hannah. Anyway, I went to the party as a Greek goddess, I know it's lame but I didn't have enough time to prepare. And besides I already have a Venus cut dress so why would I go far?All I needed was just a pair of cute gold sandals, a gold head band and I was good to go! It's just so practical!

And after our party at work, Davey picked me up and we went to LA! We partied the night away at Opera! And I was able to meet and rubbed elbows with some stars and starlets! Hahahah! I was almost wasted! I had so much to drink. We spent the rest of the night at Davey's apartment. And after lunch he drove me back to my dear SF.

And here I am again in my lonely apartment. I have so many things to do, but a little blogging won't hurt right? Need to wake up early tomorrow, I'm flying up north to Seattle to get some stuff for my current project and also meet some friends there. Who says that work and play don't mix? Of course it does! It's just a matter of time management baby!

I'm signing out now... see you soon? :)

Wall Graphics

I'm working on this really cool loft at SoMa and the owners like to have their walls differently not with the usual wall paper but with wall graphics. So I thought I'd give you some previews!

Scraps and Craps of Life

yeah, that's me!

This is my first post ever! I always wanted to have a blog of my own, but I didn't have the time to keep one. But after a series of bloghopping and long talks with some friends I decided to finally have my own space in this 'blogosphere' (I didn't know what that means not after I talk to Krissie).

This blog would be the place where I'll let out all the scraps and craps of Joannie's life. And for you out there who doesn't know who Joannie is? Well, let me introduce ME to you! See, this is just my first post but I won't disagree with you if you'll think that this is the most boring post you've ever read.

But don't you worry, (as if you really care) I'll try my best not to bore you that much. So this is it for now. Hope to see some blogging friends here. Krissie, Kelly, Jenna, and Tay.
